GeoGuessr is an online game of geographical discoveries, by Anton Wallén, Swedish language consultant. The game uses a random Google Street View locations and requires that participants be able to guess their location in the world, using only the clues featured in street view.

GeoGuessr quickly became popular after it was released on 9 may 2013. She reviewed the many media organizations, and on websites such as the webcomic xkcd. The site has received hundreds of thousands of unique visitors per day just over a week after being released.
