Pedro León Zapata

He was born on Feb 27th, 1929 (Táchira, Venezuela)

Zapata completed his undergraduate studies at the Liceo San José of Los Teques and then enter the School of Fine Arts in Caracas. Interested in murals, traveled abroad to study at the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico, School of La Esmeralda and workshop Siqueiros the Central American country. Now back to Venezuela, made teacher and illustrator.

Zapata was always interested in painting and caricature. It came even to mix.
