It is a digital pet, made in Japan, and was a digital alternative to a real pet, or which friends could swap, or exchange, or even let other friends take home for a night or two. This game allowed the player to feed it when it was hungry, wash it when it was dirty, pet it when it needed attention, give it medicine when it was sick, and even clean up after it if it made a mess. After some time the player could put it to sleep and wake it up again, all while watching it grow. If the pet didnt recieve any of these, it would die. This is not a game I perticularly enjoyed but played because everyone else had one.

A small plastic doll with furry hair, created in 1959, and becoming a fad in the 60's 70's and 90's, these dolls were made to look like trolls. Thomas Dam, a fisherman, could not afford to buy his young daughter a christmas gift, and instead carved out a little troll out of wood to give her. When other children saw her new doll, they wanted one too. In the 90's there were many types of trolls, ranging in size from miniature gumball machine prizes and pencil toppers to dolls over one foot tall.

A popular board game with different variations. I think that this is one game that hasnt gone out of style since its creation (1903). In efforts to explain the single tax theory of Henry George, Elizabeth J. Magie Phillips created this as a mere illustration, or a learning tool for all. Standard equipment to this board game includes: property deeds, 32 houses and 12 hotels, 32 Chance and Community Chest cards, a pair of dice, monopoly money totalling $15,140 in denominations of $500 bills, $100 bills, $50 bills, $20 bills, $10 bills, $5 bills, $1 bills, and finally the tokens (my favourite part) including: wheelbarrow, battleship, racecar, thimble, boot, Scotie dog, tophat, and a cat. This is a game that can last hours on end.

Players play Pokémon to the field and use their attacks to reduce the opponent's HP. When a Pokémon's HP is reduced to 0 it is knocked out and the player who knocked it out takes a Prize card into their hand.
